Banking services in MTB BANK branches with the Diya app

From now on, the MTB BANK customers can confirm their identity and share a copy of a digital document through the ‘Diya’ app to receive banking services at the Bank's branches.

Based on digital documents, individuals can open and replenish accounts, make deposits, pay loans, receive payment and credit cards, that is, use a full range of banking services, similar to those issued to customers upon presentation of paper documents.

Thanks to the integration of the ‘Diya’ app with MTB BANK software, the procedure for identifying and verifying customers by sharing digital documents will be as convenient as possible and will not require providing additional paper certificates of assignment of an identification code and confirmation of registration of a place of residence to the electronic passport.

Copies of digital documents are received using a barcode – a 13-digit barcode that the client will report to the Bank's specialist. The client only needs to confirm the request for data transfer in the Diya app.

"The document-sharing technology in the ‘Diya’ application, developed by the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, makes it possible to speed up the transition to paperless mode with no papers. We are pleased to announce that the service in our branches has significantly improved and now we can reduce customer verification using their e-passport to an automatic procedure. No papers or references. There is ‘Diya’ – there are most banking operations available if the app is available. You can get almost 70 public services online on the portal, and in the updated mobile application — access to 12 of your digital documents and 12 services.

The following is available among the documents: ID card and foreign biometric passport, student ID card, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, vehicle insurance policy, tax number (RNOKPP - taxpayer ID registration card number), birth certificate and migrant certificate (IDP), as well as international, yellow and green internal COVID certificates.
