THE STATE AND MTB BANK SUPPORT AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS

This year, one and a half thousand Ukrainian producers of agricultural products have taken advantage of the state program aimed at partial cost compensation for the purchase of domestic machinery and equipment. Under this program, UAH 174.6 million was refunded from the state budget to farmers. The most part of funds received agrarians of the Vinnitsa region (UAH 22.5 million), Sumy (UAH 15.5 million) and Odessa region (UAH 12 million).

Thus, according to the Memorandum signed by PJSC ‘MTB BANK’ and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, this week MTB Bank customers purchased domestic farming equipment and already returned 25% of the purchase amount. Cooperation of MTB Bank and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy gives the agricultural producers opportunity not only to significantly save on updating their equipment fleet, but also to increase profits due to an increase in the technological level, which leads to a better production quality. Experts advise to use actively the state support program for agricultural producers, as this is the tool that can significant boost the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
