MTB Bank issued the first bank guarantee in the timber market

At the end of October, we signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ukrainian Clearing House (UKH) in the field of guarantees for bidders in the timber market.

And today — the first practical result of this cooperation:

MTB Bank issued the first bank guarantee to a participant in exchange trading-auctions for the sale of unprocessed and firewood.

The guarantee covers 50% of the guarantee deposit as a means of ensuring the fulfillment of obligations under a forward contract with delivery in the first quarter of 2026.

Partnership with UKD allows exchange trading participants to use bank guarantees instead of blocking large amounts of funds, which reduces the burden on the liquidity of enterprises and increases confidence in the market.

MTB Bank provides clients with quick processing of guarantees, consulting support and support at all stages of participation in stock market transactions.

This is another step towards the development of modern financial instruments for business and strengthening trust in the market.
