The standards set forth in the Charter are designed to make banking more accessible to hundreds of thousands of veterans – both customers and employees.

MTB Bank joined the Charter on Financial Inclusion and Reintegration of Veterans, the conclusion of which was initiated by the National Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development within the framework of a joint Memorandum of understanding.

The memorandum between the NBU and the EBRD envisages the cooperation of institutions to ensure the cohesion of the financial sector in matters of implementing standards of inclusive activities and services, support and resocialization of veterans war in Ukraine.

The standards set forth in the Charter are designed to make banking more accessible to hundreds of thousands of veterans – both customers and employees.

The return of veterans to civilian life requires the creation of a system of certain inclusive conditions. This goal is at the heart of the Veterans Financial Inclusion and Reintegration Charter.

"The Charter is an effective tool to rally banks around the issue of helping veterans and their families. The sign of equality must stand between civilian opportunities and veterans. I am convinced that together with the EBRD and the entire banking system, we will be able to effectively promote accessibility and barrier-free financial services for all citizens," – commented NBU Chairman Andriy Pishnyi.

In the work Veterans’ The Reintegration Conference, which was dedicated to the topic of reintegration of veterans and organized by the Ministry of Economy, the National Bank of Ukraine and the EBRD, was attended by Pavlo Kudryashov, deputy head of the Department of Retail Business.

«It was nice when the Chairman of the NBU Andriy Pishnyi in his speech noted MTB Bank among the 27 banks that joined the Charter, and urged everyone who has not yet made it to do so as soon as possible. And this is very important, because the standards set forth in the Charter are barrier-free, accessibility of financial services for people, maximum possible inclusiveness, Pavlo Kudryashov noted.

By joining the MTB Charter, Bank certifies its desire to adopt an inclusive policy,  reintegrate war veterans and transform the business into one that provides equal access to financial services for all clients without exception.
